MEHDI NEBBOU started his career with the leading role in the film FOLGESCHÄDEN/SEEDS OF DOUBTS, which won the Golden Gate Award for best film at the San Francisco Film Festival. 2005 was a turning point in Nebbou’s career, thanks to the film SCHLÄFER/SLEEPER, by a German film director Benjamin Heisenberg, which received excellent reviews and was selected for the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.
Later on Mehdi was selected to star in the Steven Spielberg blockbuster film MUNICH. In 2007 for his performance in TERESAS ZIMMER, directed by German film director Constanze Knoche, he won the award for best actor First Steps Awards.
In 2008, Mehdi Nebbou starred in CA$H, directed by Éric Besnard, next to Jean Dujardin & Jean Reno, in Ridley Scott`s film BODY OF LIES with Leonardo DiCaprio, in SPECIAL FORCES, directed by Stephane Rybojad, alongside Diane Krüger & in the Indian film ENGLISH VINGLISH, directed by Gauri Shinde, next to Indian superstar Sridevi.
Also Mehdi starred in the most famous French comedies like JOSEPHINE and in the sequel JOSEPHINE S’ARRONDIT, directed by Marilou Berry. The comedy got 300 000 viewers, just in the first 5 days.

In 2015 Mehdi starred in the German cinema movie HAPPY HOUR, directed by Franz Müller, in WE MONSTERS, directed by Sebastian Ko, in TIERE, directed by Greg Zglinski & in MAGMA, directed by Pierre Vinour.
In 2016 he starred in the Romanian/French feature film FIXEUR, directed by Adrian Sitaru.
Also Mehdi starred in American TV series for SHOWTIME Network, HOMELAND, created by Alex Gansa,  Howard Gordon.

Mehdi is native in French and speaks English, Arabic, Italian and German fluently.
