NIK XHELILAJ stars for THE ALBANIAN, directed by Johannes Naber (where he
learned German for his character and won best actor award at Moscow International film
festival 2010). The movie was also nominated for the German Film Award 2011. He also stars for REAL PLAYING GAME by Tim Navarro where he played next to Rutger Hauer. Another great movie he stars for is SEVEN LUCKY GODS, directed by Jamil Dehlavi (where he also was awarded as best actor at the world fest Houston). Since 2012 when he moved to Istanbul he stars for CROSSROADS, directed by Faysal Soysal and one of the most popular Turkish tv series in Turkey. Last but not least he stars for Gjergj Xhuvani´s new cinema movie DISTANT ANGELS which will premier at the end of 2015. He is now shooting in Croatia as the lead Winnetou himself for the Remake of the new WINNETOU Saga including 3 big budget movies after the novels by Karl May and directed by Philipp Stölzl.
